What motivated you to start DJing/presenting?
I have been into music literally from the age of five! Playing my parents old records on their record player. I was hooked from back then and still am today.
What styles do you play?
On Dance UK I will be playing a range of different house genres. Whilst djing in bars / clubs I cover all styles such as Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Garage, D&B, Indie, Cheese…pretty much all bases covered!
Do you mix or scratch or both? Or are you more of a presenter?
I concentrate on the mixing side of djing, never been a scratch fan, I’ve tried to do it and it sounds terrible!
Do you play on just one of danceradiouk.com’s stations or both?
On one, Dance UK.
Outside of danceradiouk.com, who are your favourite DJ’s, bands or music artists and how have they influenced your style (if they have)?
Anything House orientated really… Back in the day stuff like Livin’ Joy, MK, Tony Di Bart & Sandy B through to Freemasons etc and now artists such as Friend Within, Majestic, Jax Jones and lots more I can’t think of without having my DJ laptop in front of me haha
What other interests do you have besides DJing/presenting on the radio?
DJing and listening to music / digging for music is a big thing for me so it takes up a lot of my time. I love spending time with my son who is my absolute world and hope he follows in his Dad’s Djing footsteps!
My son, my computer, my music collection and my car.
Sum yourself up in a sentence?
That’s a hard one…relaxed, passionate and hard working…will give my best if there’s a crowd of 20 people or 2000 people!
Your desert island discs?
An even harder one! It would take me months to come up with a list. the 12 inch of Incognito – Always There would be on it though
Not at the mo!
